- and yes, the ostrich- behind Skate or Hide! With a background in both film and stage acting, Steve brings a love of storytelling, comedy, and nostalgia to every frame. This short film marks his first leap into directing, blending his indie sensibilities with a deep love for the 80s and 90s coming of age movies. Based in Maryland, Steve continues to create original work with heart, humor and just the right amount of the unexpected.
